For the last seven years, Genesis has enjoyed a covenant relationship with churches in New Mexico (Mora, Chacon, Chimayo, and Truchas). Each summer, a large group of us (of all ages and abilities) travel to New Mexico for a week of professionally-led community and church improvement projects.

Traveling to New Mexico takes us out of our comfort zone (and into sleeping bags, tents, and campers!), bringing us closer together as a congregation. We’ve been blessed and challenged by these very different communities! We’ve also made some great new friends.
