For the last seven years, Genesis has enjoyed a covenant relationship with churches in New Mexico (Mora, Chacon, Chimayo, and Truchas). Each summer, a large group of us (of all ages and abilities) travel to New Mexico for a week of professionally-led community and church improvement projects.

There are many times in our lives when having someone truly hear what we are saying is simply a healing experience.

Genesis is a Stephen Ministry congregation practicing Christ's Compassion Through One-On-One Encouragement and Care. Trained caregivers minister to those both in and beyond our congregation.

Genesis is brave enough (and proud) to host over 75 vivacious and energetic scouts and their adult leaders throughout the year. We celebrate the value of scouting and appreciate the many lives that are changed.

Sometimes ministry means knot-tying, camping, arts and crafts… lucky for us it also means Scouts Sunday during January's First Fest at Genesis, and a taste of their wonderful outdoor cooking.

Genesis is pleased to host a number of Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous groups in our building at various times during the week.

God has given us this wonderful facility, and we welcome building users of all kinds. We are open to considering ongoing building use, or one-time events.
